Windows is very prone to unwanted ad-ware, viruses, and corruption in the registry. These often cause poor performance and can lead to frequent crashes. As a solution many will simply reinstall the OS on an annual basis, this works but it may be more drastic than necessary. Here are the utilities that I use for keeping my windows installations up and running.
